I used to compare myself to a shoe or shoes.
Like the shoes, I am always on a journey.
There are times that I get threw up when my lace got loose, I get stuck in a muddy ground that makes me stop from
moving forward, and I get dirty sometimes that could make people talk negatively behind my back. But the shoes has it’s owner who fix the lace when it gets untied, who pulls it back up when it gets stuck, and most of all, the one who washes it when it gets dirty. Do you want to know who my owner is?
It’s God… Some people wear shoes to please their selves and to get praises from others. The same as how God uses me for His greater honor and glory. He ties me with His love to keep me strong
and to keep me secure that I will succeed in this journey as He has promised.
He pulls me back to Him when I get lost so I could go on with my journey, He even washed me with the blood of Jesus to give me a pure life to live and to erase all the stains in my heart which is evil desires…
And the greatest thing that an owner can do to his shoes which is the same greatest thing that God can do to me is...
to take me to the place where He wants me to be,
according to His will… This may be just so simple. But as a Christian,
It’s the Life that God wants me to have, and this life means a lot to me and to the people
inside it… :)
