A sample from the very first book I wrote - Good Life!

Good Start

Introduction
It’s late 11:45 in the evening and you just can’t go to sleep. You’re thinking about how to make your day tomorrow much better and more fun than what you’ve experienced today. You’re boosting up with methods and your mind suddenly flashed back today’s scene.
“Hi friends! What’s for today?” you asked your friends when you saw each other in school. “Nothing, I have to go home early after class because my mom wants me to help her cook”, one answered. Then another answered, “I have to make my report. Sorry but I have to go home too. I still have pages to study.” Then you had your eye on the last friend then your friend said, “Me? I have to meet my parents at the mall. We’re gonna have our dinner together.”
“You!!!! You!! And You!!”, you shouted. “You really are not true friends at all! You always find time with other things than to spend it with me! I’m so sick of being your friend! Remember this, I’m going to find new friends!”
Your day got ruined. You don’t know now what to do and where to go after you’ve shouted your tonsils out in front of your BFFs since grade school. Then you just said in your mind, “This life is hell, when will I be happy?”
A happy life is merely different from a good life. A Happy Life, it has something to do with your own happiness. You can be happy with your life making decisions for your sake, for you to be happy never considering other people, standing firm to reach your own goals and be a successful person, and being the best that you can be for you to be known & famous. A happy life is all about doing what you want and fulfilling your own desires in life. Others sometimes complain when life gets tough because they thought living a happy life is the best option.
Good life is lived for everybody around you. Making decisions not just for your own but for others as well, standing firm not for you to be the strongest but for others to take courage too, being the best that you can be not to gain admiration but to show others that everything is possible with God’s grace.

“You are the light of the world – like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it on under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand,                                                                  where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way,                                                                                               Let your good deeds shine out for all to see,  so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”                                                 Matthew 5:14-16

A Good Life opens the possibility that it may not be always fun, it can sometimes go wrong but you know that things happen because it’s the best for you and for the people around you. Good is clearly all for the better.
I find living a good life much meaningful and worth it than living a happy life. That’s why I wrote this book to share my insights and to encourage people especially young people to choose a good life than a happy life, to live life on its peak not just for their selves but also for others.
